Cannot Confirm a Device with NetSpot Device Installer for IPX

Cause 1: The power to the device is not turned on.
Action: Turn the device's power on.
Cause 2: The network board is not properly connected.
Action: Turn the device's power off, confirm the following, and then turn the device's power back on.
Refer to the network board manual, and confirm that the network board is installed correctly. (This operation is not necessary when using a device that offers standard support for network functions.)
Refer to the network board manual and confirm that the device is connected to the network using the correct cable.
If you are using 10Base-2, make sure that the network terminators are properly connected.
Cause 3: The device's frame type is not correctly set.
Action: Set a frame type that suits your system. You can make the setting with NetSpot Device Installer for TCP/IP.
