Printing to the copiers from Mac computers, laptops is finally possible!
Please go to the Canon website using one of the links below to download and install the UFR-II drivers. Once installed, then you can add the copier just like any other printer on a Mac.

Installing a printer on a Mac is not like installing it on a Windows computer; the installer only installs the drivers. You have to manually install the printer after installing those drivers. I do not have instructions created for this. Please ask for help if you do not know how to install the printer on your Mac.

Instructions for installing the new drivers for the Canon copiers on Windows computers.

You can download the detailed instructions in a PDF here.
  1. Most offices use codes to print or copy. Please get with your office admin to have a code created for you before you begin. Once you have a code, then you can continue.
  2. Determine the model of your copier.
  3. Download (save, then run) the driver from the link below.
  4. The file is a self-extracting archive. It will create a folder named "UFRII_V30.30_Set-up_x64" in the same folder you ran it from (probably your downloads folder).
  5. Open the folder that was just created with the driver files and run the Setup.exe installation program.
  6. Keep all of the default selections, and tell it to search your network for devices.
  7. When it is finished searching, select the appropriate copier from the list. Click the box to change printer info, then Next.
  8. The name of the printer will be selected. Give it a name that is meaningful to you. Click next a few times to start the installation.
  9. Allow the setup to complete. Reboot when finished if required. DO NOT check the box to reboot if it is not checked. Click OK.
  10. When completed, you will still need to verify the settings for Department ID, B&W or Color, Printing Preferences, etc., same as always.

Download the UFRII drivers directly from the Canon website

iOS or Android Printing

Printing to the Canon copiers from iOS or Android devices is possible, but we do not provide support for this. You can look into using the Canon PRINT Business app in your app store. It is not difficult, but you will need to figure it out on your own. Printing to the copiers from your device will require opening the document or website from within this app. Please refer to their documentation for any questions on how to use this.
